Hmmm?

Lately I've found myself in a bit of quandary. Lately I'm sure a lot have heard about the news stories talking about whether or not there is a relation between food dyes and hyperactivity/ADHD.  I had heart about this before..but didn't really look into until recently since both of my boys I am pretty certain have ADHD.  I also have had ADD (note that I chose to omit the H for hyper) nearly all my life. I have always been an EXTREMELY picky eater...I spent a good chunk of my childhood eating Mac & Cheese, which has 2-3 different yellow food dyes in it depending on the brand, and lots of juice, and lots of cereal such as cap'n crunch, fruit loops etc.  After reading a few news articles about this mom who after her son was diagnosed as ADHD, she eliminated all foods with artificial dyes in them and within 2 weeks had shown a big improvement. I personally HATE the meds for ADD. They are terrible. Well for a child they are as an adult its like a 3 cups of coffee, a rockstar and a glass of water to the face in pill form :) which is nice lol. My point is I'd rather try and eliminate some things that aren't really all the healthy anyways to try and help. So for the next 2 weeks I'm going to try this on me and the boys, I guess Aspyn and Justin will have to join us as well...and for those who know me well...know this will be the hardest for me. If I survive...and thats a big IF I'll attempt to document... Here are some things that we enjoy with food dye.
